    Walk or run a 5K at Freedom Plaza in Washington, D.C., or virtually, to support Children’s National patients and families. The Race unites our community to elevate pediatric care for every child.

    Reese Finds Balance and Confidence Through Expert Care

    While navigating postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome (POTS), a condition that causes an increase in heart rate after sitting or standing, Reese overcame her fears through compassionate care. Empowered with knowledge of her condition, she keeps swimming, playing soccer and participating in the Race for Every Child 5K Run/Walk.
